Rivers Tjulån and Vindel River meet in Ammarnäs. The Vindel River is one of Sweden´s few for hydropower not regulated rivers which makes it a true fishing paradise. Here, you find the famous big Ammarnäs trout, regarded as quite different from other Swedish trout genetically. Apart from Vindel River, countless lakes and creeks offer you to target trout, char and grayling, both close to the lodge and up in the mountains. You reach the different waters by car, by foot or even by helicopter if you choose to book a trip to one of our exclusive waters in the mountains.
